Hello!

I'm Alba Filella (she/her), illustrator, character designer based in Catalonia, Spain, that specializes in creating stylized and colourful designs that celebrate nature and all kinds of creatures.

My work focuses on visual storytelling, character design, and editorial illustration, with a strong interest in aesthetic coherence and supporting art direction through thoughtful visual development. I have experience working across editorial, cultural and entertainment projects, both independently and in collaboration with creative teams.

I’m particularly drawn to projects aimed at young audiences and the young at heart, especially stories that explore themes such as ecology and climate awareness, neurodivergence, mental health, and LGBTQIA+ representation.

When I’m not drawing, you’ll probably find me reading, learning pottery, or walking with my dog :)
